FAQs

WHAT IS AN ART COMMISSION?

A commission is a bespoke piece of art, made just for you.
Nothing says ‘I love you’ or ‘I loved this moment’ like a one-of-a-kind piece to cherish forever.
When you order a bespoke piece, we work together to bring your idea to life.

How can I get in touch about an artwork?

Feel free to contact me via the contact page, Instagram, or WhatsApp - whichever suits you best.
I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

WHAT MEDIA DO YOU USE FOR YOUR ARTWORKS?

Primarily, watercolour and graphite pencil. I also love creating shadow boxes for a unique touch of depth.
If you have something specific in mind, let’s chat about which medium would work best.

What sizes do you offer?

The sizing we choose is totally up to you - Whether you’re after an intricate miniature, a bold A1 piece, or something perfectly in between. If you’re unsure about sizing, we can discuss what will work best for your space, budget or vision.

Do you have a price list for your commissions?

Each piece is unique, and pricing depends on the size, level of detail, and materials involved.

Once we’ve worked through your concept and I have an idea of what it’ll entail, I’ll send through a personalised quote.

What is the process for a commission?

1. Get in touch with your idea
2. We’ll clarify the details (context; medium; size; mood; space and so on)
3. I’ll send you a quote with an expected timeframe
4. Once you approve, your project will be added to my backlog
5. Your bespoke piece will be shipped or ready to arrange collection once completed

What is the lead time for a commission?

It depends on the size and complexity of your piece, as well as my current backlog of projects.
I’ll give you an estimate when we discuss your commission.
If you have a strict deadline (like an anniversary or birthday), please let me know.

Do you need reference photos?

Especially if the artwork is of something unique to you, like a loved one, references are incredibly helpful.
The more detailed and clear they are, the better.
That said, we can always (and often do) adapt or modify details to suit your vision – it’s all part of the creative process.

Could you help with Framing?

I’d be happy to! Framing is such an important part of the artwork.
However, keep in mind that taking it to a framer may add about 3 weeks to the timeline, depending on their availability.
Framing costs will be charged according to the framers’ rates.
